? Bad mpg 2001 S4 b5
im getting very low numbers like 11mpg and im not driving hard always switching to next gear before 2300rpms, even though its cold here in new york so i let it warm up for about 5-10 min but i only drive twice a day maybe some times 3 cus i work most of the time but this is ridiculous can any tell me y the hell is that.The car runs good i don't have any other problems. Thanx for the help

vagcom is the tool (from rosstech) i believe which can scan your car for fault codes..
maybe others can chime in as i'm not as skilled/own one yet. "vag it" means to scan/check it for codes
you get a software and a cable for approx. 300?
see what others say regarding the fuel filter- if it hasn't been replaced allready i'd do it. my car's got 105k and I've replaced mine twice (prob a slight overkill)

i think im in trouble with the second code even though i did leave the car with an empty gas tank cus i thought i had more gas, the car was shaking when it hit like 2500 rpm. help please
