I just installed my boost gauge since i felt like after a week of being stage 1 with a giac chip that i lost a considerable amount of power. I am currently hitting 13 pounds of boost and was informed that that was really low for this chip. The vagcom log shows i have a bad EGT sensor could this be the problem to boost loss?? Already pressure tested the car with no leaks found , i replaced the DV's . Could this be the EGT or something like the N75??

a bad EGT should cut your boost down a lot, i.e., about 5 psi

I was asking at the time because I hadn't taken the car apart yet. Why don't you be more useful and less cynical and either A) answer the question, or B) Stay in your hole and don't say anything.

I've since rebuilt the car, but that's not the point. I was looking for a quick answer to troubleshoot a problem.
