Cam Plugs?

Cam Plugs?
I've been searching the forums for the last 2 hours and I haven't really come up with an answer. I have an 01 Audi a6 2.7t. I suppose when I had all my work done they didn't replace the cam plugs and now the driver side looks to be leaking onto the turbo and smoking. How hard would it be for me to go back into it and replace it? Do these plugs just pop out and easily replaced or do I have to take the cam out? Any help would be great.

It is as simple as this:
Jab it from behind until you make it thru the center/side and can pull them out with a screw driver.
Take a new one, oil it slightly, push it in. They go in much easier than they're coming out.
DONE.
This becomes much trickier if you have EGR valves on your engine. These obstruct the plugs. At the very minimum you will have to remove top screw from these and loosen up two bottom screws to make some room. The screws have hex heads but I am not sure what size, either 6 mm or 8mm.

Yes they just pop out, i just did mine over the weekend on a 2.8 30v.
And it only took about 10min.
I just took a screw driver and a hammer and tapped the screw driver through, then wiggled it a few times and they popped out.
Then just took the new one and pushed it in, using no tools to push back in just my hands.
The one on the passenger-side under the EGR was just a little harder to line up to get put back in but i didn't have to loosen the egr valve up, just used a screw driver to wedge in there and press against the egr valve to push the new plug in.
