Default chattering noise under car when shutting off

every time i shut off my 02 allroad 2.7t 6 speed, there is a very noticeable "chattering" come from the crank/tranny/clutch area under the car. almost as if the fluid is to thin and its not lubricating enough. i know the motor has the right weight oil. im not too sure about that tranny, and plan on doing a flush soon. does anyobdy have any ideas of what could be making this noise? it only happens when i turn the key off when the motor is decelerating from idle to 0rpm.

Next time you turn the engine off, keep the clutch pedal depressed until everything comes to a complete stop. If the noise is not there, it could be that your throwout bearing is spinning down and being noisy while it does so.
