Correct Coolant Temperature Switch for 03 A6 2.7T?
Recently had a bunch of problems after getting the car serviced.
( Still has a rough idle when cold and the car runs rich & the brakes will go out randomly)
One of the items changed was a Coolant Temperature Switch. I had asked for all the items back that they replaced and of course the "Couldnt find any" so I am not sure if they put the correct one in.
Did my research and ordered 059919501A from Autohouseaz. The MCT brand one. From reading I am guessing its faulty as I didnt have the rough idle problem this bad until this was changed. Only never got a temp readout on the display.
Is 059919501A the correct part # for this year Audi?
Where should I order a reliable one? The $10 part has cost me a ton of time.
Thank You

For the engine computer/gauge. Or the fan switch? you may be replacing the wrong one. Engine computer and the gauge are one green 4 pin sensor on the passenger side rear cylinder head. If your replacing the one down at the radiator hose, or using that part number and putting it in place of the green one, thats your problem.
The Green temp sensor is super super common, any forien parts store should carry it. Its the same one for all 1.8, 2.8, 2.7, 2.0, VR6, ect ect audi vw stuff

Thank you for clearing up my question. Wasn't sure if I had the wrong one in or not.
