Hey everyone.

Any Denver DIYers with a 2.7t up for a timing belt replacement?

I'm close to doing mine and wanted to know if anyone wanted to make a day of doing both of ours together.

I've done this type of team job with some other repairs and it is a lot more fun than doing it alone. I found we were able to problem solve things faster.

I've never done this particular repair before but I plan on getting the JHM DVD and a kit. If you've done it before great. If not then we'll be at the same level.

I will have all the tools needed to do the job and while I'm no expert I'm not a mechanical novice either. You'll need a cam lock bar of your own I would think.

This weekend would work, but we'd need to get on top of ordering things right away. Otherwise it might be a few weeks as I'm going to be out of town July 27ish.

I'm thinking of an Early Saturday start and we'd focus on making sure whoever's car was away from their garage would get finished first.

If you have not done this yet, I would like to watch/assist. Not needed on my car for a bit so I'd like to familiarize myself with the process.
