During key off/Vehicle shutting down.

When i park and turn the key off, no matter how long of a drive it is. The motor seems to sound like gears coming to a stop?..Is this normal?? I had the oil recently changed no more than 1,200 miles ago. Need help.

its a small after run pump that will braekdown around 75K. It pushes coolant thru the turbos after they shut off
