engine misfires when air temp above 88 degrees
The 2.7 just turned 90K when my wife filled with 89 octane. Misfires when it sets for a while at 88 degrees. a few minutes down the road the misfire stops, but returns again upon standing in heat. I know I'm due for plugs. Bosch are available. what will do the job best for an average mid life crisis car?? No chips and no other modifications (yet!). Also, is the Bentley CD worth the money or are there any viable alternatives?
Help me keep this wonderful machine running great. We've been to the Smoky Mountain area 3 times since last June and it's a great car for those roads. Wow!!

dont know about the spark plugs, but i recomend not filling it with 89. I have had my 2.7 since 2000 and have never filled it with anything less than 93 and it had never misfired. got close to 80K miles
