Gouge in tranny help - midst of replacing drive axle seals

Default Gouge in tranny help - midst of replacing drive axle seals

So being hungover after the office holiday party, I messed up my final drive cover. Take a look at the picture below. Any suggestions on how I can fix it? Bondo? Honing it down? JB Weld? Can I get away with sanding the gouge down?

If not, anyone have a spare final drive cover I can buy?

BTW, this is for the front tranny cover...
