My 99 2.7t has them but they never seem to work.

Anyone know the deal with them? ie how they work, if they get jammed etc?

The pump can die or the hose can come off. If it's not dumping washer fluid on the ground, it's probably the pump or wiring.

They only operate when you hit the windshield washers with the lights on, so make sure you have the headlights on when you test them.

Ive found that they work fine but only when the car is on motion.
