Help with 2001 2.7T !!!!
 

have a 2001 2.7t and for the last two weeks Ive been having starting issues when cold. It would crank, starts and rpm's would drop and it would shut off. After a few of these episodes back to back, it would be fine and drive normal.

A few days ago, I would come to a red light and the car stalled once adding to the first issue. Last night I had same trouble with starting and finally I took off and it kept stalling on me. The idle is very rough and doesnt respond to the gas pedal input at all, I idled it just enough to park it.

Changed out the Coolant temp sensor as someone suggested but that didnt do anything.

Any ideas? it did through a P0300 code for obvious reasons.

Hmm try looking for intake leaks, or failed crankcase vent valve. Can you see fuel trim with your scantool?

interestingly, it was the mass air flow sensor!
