Default Hose Near PCV or Suction Pump?

I have a 2003 A6 2.7 Turbo. I noticed that a hose is broken near the rear of the engine on the driver's side.

Can you tell me the name of the hose? How difficult is it to replace? The car has 95k miles on it. Is this common?

Also, I had to pull a rubber cover off to get to this area. The cover has deteriorated and needs replacement. Do you know the name of the cover?

I was thinking of ordering the parts and replacing myself. Any help in the naming of these parts and replacement tips is greatly appreciated.

http://img395.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc00061ly9.jpg</a

This doesn't look the same. The part that is broken is circled in red. Any additional help is greatly appreciated.

Great diagram!

Is this for a 2003 A6 2.7T? I didn't immediately see the right hose, but will figure it out if it's the right diagram.

Thanks again!

Default Here is what I did.....

I had the check valve break that he gave you above, it is just to the left of where your hose/line broke. When I changed the valve, I couldn't get the end out of the hard plastic line, so used a 2 inch piece of rubber hose and some clamps. That line is a vacuum line so there is no pressure on it. Hope that helps.

The dealer ended up basically doing the same thing when I took it in for service!
