I replaced all 6 coils on my 02 A6 2.7T and does anyone know how to test the old coils. I want to keep the old/good ones a spairs.

1) Figure out which coil is easiest to replace on your car. Probably #5 (middle one on the driver side).

2) Remove the new coil. Replace it with an old coil.

3) Drive it for awhile... if no problems, mark it as good and replace it with another old coil.

4) Repeat until done.
