how do you set valve timing?

Default how do you set valve timing?

timing belt broke in my 2000 s4. got it torn down and ready to go, except that i need to know how to set timing. i have a bentley's on cd, so if its in there, what is it under. any guidance appreciated.

Default Bent valves!

I hope you don't have bent valves, but you probably due. The pic from quickaudi is for intake to exhaust camshaft chain timing, not timing belt timing. You need special tool 3391 to hold camshafts and a puller to pull the sprocket off the cam to get it perfect. The "ears" on each cam sprocket should have the large holes facing each other while crank is on tdc.
