I don't want to race but I want the highest quality power increase with the least opportunity for issues. Every shop I ask says theres is the best whatever they sell.

By the way you gave an opinion but gave no reason why.

Default if you'd search the forum archives for about 5 minutes, you'll find all the answers you need

Giac runs the most boost
APR doesn't

Default APR/GIAC/MTM/Dahlback and a few more...

They all do pretty much the same thing, they just go about it a bit differently.

Some play with more boost which pushes the turbos a bit more (GIAC, MTM) and the others enhance the fuel/air/timing more (APR&Dahlback and OC.t). But yet they all achieve the same result....power.

So it comes down to the installer(IMHO)

What is the reputation of the installing dealer and how close are they to you? How will they support you and your overall goals in the modding of the ride?

FYI tip chips are made by GIAC and Dahlback. Most will say they are OK. Voag Com coding can help a bit more. All they do is enhance the shifting.

I see you have APR on your Allroad.

I have two reputable reputable shops one does Giac one does APR

I have an 01.5 S4 tip
and an 01 Allroad tip

Mostly I just do everyday round town driving.

Just really looking for a little more power to play with. (make commuting fun)

Why do you use APR?
Thanks, Chuck
