just had a lot of maitenance done - 2002 Audi A6 Quattro 2.7T
I took my car to a local shop owned and operated by a friend of mine for service. I am lucky that not only are they friends of mine but they specialize in German cars. They do top notch work there so i know my car was in good hands. Here is a list of items i had them service:
Timing belt kit (OEM)
-timing belt
-tensioning dampner
-tensioning roller
-relay roller
-tensioner lever arm
Thermostat
Serpentine belt
Water pump
Spark plugs
Alternator
Cabin filter
Trans fluid and filter change (Audi fluid)
Front and Rear diff fluid change (Audi fluid)
Fuel filter
Replaced the plastic belly/skid pan and fasteners (OEM Audi part $195)
Checked upper and lower control arms
Adjusted HID/Xenon headlights
All parts and fluids used were OEM Audi from the dealer.
Total for service was $3600 including 7% sales tax.
Now to me this was money well spent as i don't have time or the knowledge to do this work myself. I made this post to inform others what maintenance costs on these cars. Comments welcome.

I kinda think in my own opinion, that is a little high as well. i had a indy shop replace my water pump, timing belt kit, cam shaft seals, and thermostat for $1183.65. but then again you had some other work done as well, but an additional $2400 worth? i dont know enough yet to know if the additional work you had done was worth that much?
either way, sounds like your rolling strong now eh?
