Unfortunately, with these turbos there is no way to accurately predict when they are going to fail. Proper warm up is key, but there are a thousand other factors that affect them when they are spun up to 100k rpm.

my first set lasted 30K miles. I'm still on the 2nd K03s
and now have 155,000 miles. That's 125K on the replacment set. Chipped all the time.
