Greetings. I have an 01 A6 2.7T 6-speed with 121k. I had an MTM chip installed along with the euro diverter valves a few thousand miles ago and the car would then intermittently not produce full boost (only 4-10 pounds). But when it did produce full boost, the car felt amazing. I pressurized the induction system to check for leaks, none found. I had my friend VAG-COM the car and found the EGT sensors were bad. I replaced both of those ($180 ea!) and now the car still feels sluggish and now only produces 11-14 pounds of boost. Also, the idle feels a bit rough at a stop light.. maybe it's me but I remember it being silky smooth. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

11-14 may be what that chip was tuned for - I don't know. ask the company that chipped you.

vag-com your car again. at 121k, i'd look into maintenance items like spark plugs, O2 sensors, and air filter.
