Default Misfiring

hey i am mis-firing under high boost. do i need to just change out my plugs or is there somethiong else wrong????

Default I've seen plugs make a world of difference on a sputtering 1.8t...

But it could also be a number of things....

Try to get to a VAG-COM and see what codes you're throwing.

You could have a boost leak. And might want to get it pressure tested. 02 sensors can cause problems too.

what kind of spark plugs were they? properly gapped?

They are NGK's. there properly gapped to.

Default How are your EGTs? mine missfired at high RPM and never got a CEL and it turned out to be

the EGTs.

Not sure how to test them. I just bought new sensors. but they get pretty expensive. Cheapest i heard was $200 or so, ever since then i have a spare set around.

have you VAG-ed the car? what codes do you get?
