Default New O2 Sensor:::CEL on Again... "Back to the future!"

Check engine light was on, the A6 went into limp mode. Code showed replace Bank 2 O2Sensor 1. My indy replaced it, cleared codes.

NOW -- CEL back on, stopped at Advanced Auto and code shows.......yeppir Bank 2 sensor 1!

Is there something going on before the O2 Sensor that would make it malfunction?

Default Could a vacuum leak could trigger the o2 sensor??

Well the tech said he cleared the codes. I've heard that a vacuum leak could trigger the o2 sensor code. Wandering What else could trigger the CEL w/ the o2 sensor.
