Octane on demand.

With a small 5 gal fuel tank in the rear. and a fuel pump / fpr . you could presurise a second set of identical injectors with 100 - 104 octane.
the primarary injectors would be fueld by the Stock tank / fpr / and pump with 91-94 oct.
Have a simple circuit ( thare are some aready avail ) to switch the ecu's Injector pulses to the higher octane set when a certain boost / timing / rpm threshhold is met.
that way you can run your race program all day long, and still get 91-94 oct pricing.
you only need 104 octane when your pusing the limits of preignition. thats only when your doing a full load pull after 3000 rpm.
the transition would be seemless, and the car wont even hickup.

Is that how he had that set up on that car?
I don't remember reading about him having a second tank with race gas. I just thought the additional injectors were helper ones to support the boost he was using with the uber turbos.
Cool idea though!
