Default oil leak

hello all i have just aquired an 2003 a6 quattro there is an oil leak at the front right of the engine somewhere i was told its from the turbo but isnt that at the rear of the engine? what might some of the culprits be at idle for about 15 min leaves a spot the size of a coffee plate, a wet one. is it valve cover, cam seal , timing cover any help would be very grand. there are some codes that lead to secondary pressure bank 1 and 2 also shift solenoid c stuck and d electronic failure two times. are these the 6 solenoids in the transmission?

Default Oil Mystery

Valve cover leaks present themselves with an odor in the cabin while running. If you take all plastic covers off the motor to the point where you can see the ignition coil packs, you will be able to peer down under the cover if you look at an angle from high outboard to lower inboard and down toward the rear of the motor. A mirror helps. If they are leaking, you will see a ton of residue and you should see smoke while the engine is running.

A dinner plate sized leak in that amount of time? Is your oil filter on too loose? Or drain plug not snug?
