Okay - so here's a real question. How conducive is relocating the turbos?

Default Okay - so here's a real question. How conducive is relocating the turbos?

I've seen some crazy photos with all sorts of voodoo going on in the engine bay with relocated turbos. Instead of buying K04/K16s, is it cost-effective/performance-effective to move the turbos to a place where we could squeeze bigger snails in there?

Default Only 2 projects have done that that I know of - KTR, and AWE's silver bullet

Neither were cheap, and so far neither have shown huge power (well, the KTR does, but it breaks half shafts like spaghetti noodles). I don't think it's something you would want to do unless you knew how to do all the labor yourself.

I guess the bullet does make a lot of power, but it's not that much more than any normal Stage 3 car...

i dont think its worth it, lag is going to be greater with bigger turbos, unless you're driving on a track everyday its probably not worth it. there was a pic of an s4 in europe running 10.65 on twin gt30...w/e's

i think k04/16 is the best route to go
