persistant DTC codes

Hi all, I'm stuck and could use some help with my 2000 A6. It keeps showing DTCs: 17819,17831 and now 17930.
All the lines are good and clear the secondary pump functions well and have replaced both diverter valves and cam-shaft controllers but these codes keep coming up. Have had my mechanic check suspect systems and he reports all is normal. What the heck is going on any ideas?
Thanks for any help with this.
Perplexed in NY.

If you post the definition for the codes, ill be able to help you. I don't feel like looking them up tonight, but I might look them up tomorrow and give my input

17819...Secondary air inj. system bank 2 flow to low
17831...Secondary air inj. system bank 1 flow to low
since this was posted only the 17831 is persistent.
thanks,
Lew

Check to make sure there is vacuum going to the solenoid under the intake ypipe. Even though the lines look good, the can become obstructed.
male sure the pipe coming off the pipe is fitting snug, if its loose it wont flow correctly.
check the SAI fuse underhood and make sure its not blown.

check the passages that the valves bolt too and make sure they are not caked with carbon.

test the two valves with a hand operated vacuum pump and mare sure they hold vacuum and also flow freely through the passages. I get a lot of German cars that have valve diaphragms that wont hold vacuum. I have also taken the solenoid off under the ypipe and poured water out of it.
