Default Possible that Audi mistakenly put an Tip AA Ecu in a 6 Speed?
Hello! I have a 2001 A6 2.7T 6spd. VAG lists the ECU as AA. I have been tossing around the idea of chipping or purchasing used ECU online but want to get the right one. Is it possible that a Tip ECU was installed at the factory accidentally? Thanks for any info!

Default I also have an AA unit in mine. Same car as yours, the info on the letter code seems to be
off somewhere.

Default AA boxes in A6/6spd are correct
I have 2001 with AA box and have chipped with MTM stage IV
