Secondary Coolant Pump
New to Audi, just picked up a 2001 S4 with 92,000 miles on it. I'm an aspiring DIY guy and was told by a mechanic a Secondary Coolant Pump was needed. How long can I drive on it and is there any section of this website with detailed DIY guides? Thanks.

I made it almost a year, then the leak got bad...
Went from leaking a full coolant tank once a month to twice a week. DIY guides are under resources/tech articles at the top of the screen. I have linked to the write-up for the secondary coolant pump. Also called auxillary coolant pump or afterrun coolant pump. I have heard there is a way to replace it without pulling the intake manifold but little hands are required.
