serious lag and a strange grinding noise... help!
lately ive been noticing a lot of turbo lag in my 2.7. high low or mid rpms whenever i stomp on it there are a good 3 seconds or so before i'm snapped back in my seat. any ideas? im pretty sure there arent any vacuum leaks, i got those all fixed up last week.
also, while coasting in gear there is a pulsing grinding noise heard from the front end. it pulses faster if hte car moves faster. this is only on coast, not under power. any ideas here?
my engine is a GIAC tuned 2.7 turbo in an audi allroad, fyi.
any help appreciated. thanks so much.

Not familiar with Allroad, do they come in a 6-speed and is that what you have?
If it is, do you also notice any chatter as you start to move? If you do, then it may be your clutch system. Sometimes the clutch may still be okay but the TOB may be shot, either way, you will need a new set of clutch.

first thing: VAG-COM
Search for the VAG-COM locator and have a helpful Audi geek log actual vs requested boost. I'm in silicon Valley, if that helps. If engine seems normal, I'm gonna go ahead and guess it's the tip tranny. There's also an allroad faq on www.allroadfaq.com
