For a while I have been encountering a surging problem, it use to only hit at high speeds shifting from 4'th to 5'th, but now it is happening all the time when I "get on it". Along with this lately I have noticed an extreme lack of power, when on the highway and trying to accelate up to speed. My first thought was the DV's so I contacted APR and have installed new ones (with the stiffer spring) still no diffference. I have been reading about the N49 valve, and the N75 valves as potential issues. I also have inspected the boost lines the best I can and can not spot anything, have scanned it for codes... nothing. Spoke with the dealership they think it is boost leak and want to run the smoke test. Has anybody encountered this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

definitely a boost leak. you can pressure test on your own. info in archives.
