Default What to do first???

Hi,
I'm new to the Audi thing... I had an 04 S4 for about 2 and 1/2 years but I didnt really do anything to it except build an exhaust and a cold air intake....I just got an 02 A6 2.7TT, Tip..( really great deal cheaper payment).... anyways I wanna do some stuff to it...I'm going to build an exhaust, and I would like to do a chip, and hope fully some K04's but I dont know much Audi aftermarket places....I'm a Bentley, Rolls-Royce tech and the Audi dealership is right next door....my car is still under extended warraty so I'm not sure what I can get away with....

Thanks for any help,

Carl

Default if it's under warranty, you can't get away with much. they'll revoke your warranty for

anything, even upgraded diverter valves.

Default Not necessarily true...

...I spoke with the local dealer before adding the mtm stage 2. They said they will honor the warranty post-mod as long as it doesn't obviously affect the problem being repaired.

So, if your climate control system goes fritz after a chip mod, they'll fix it under warranty, but if your turbos go bye-bye, it'd be a judgement call.

I imagine the dealers will vary, but this one happens to be reasonable in that regard, IMHO.

Default It does depend on the dealer, but in many cases once a dealer "discovers" a warranty-voiding mod,

they will note it in your file and you're screwed at any other dealer. Consider yourself warned...
