what is the recommended oil grade for the 2019 q7?

The required oil will be either quality standard 504.00 or 502.00. You need to open the hood and there will be a label just above where the radiator sits in the car. That will call out which VAG spec they want you to use. The 502.00 oils are e-z to track down.

Are you absolutely sure the Q7 doesn't have the EA839 engine that requires 508.00?

No,my Q7 has the 3.0L engine and on top of the radiator I found the two stickers with the recommended oil grade 504.00 and 502.00. After some research I found that one is a 5w30 and the other is a 5w40 grade. I’m still confused why Audi gives me a choice of 2 grades of oil for this engine.

In that case my suggestion by far is German Castrol 0w30 which is 50200 approved.

Is that The Castrol Syntec European Formula? Where can I buy it? Audi dealer?
