I am looking at the Q7, 2013 - 2015, but there are so many options I am getting confused, stuck.
As i understand the Q7 3.0T Gasser comes with 2 different tunes, 270 HP Premium & plus and 333 HP Prestige, which I imagine is due to the ECM?
Are the motors identical otherwise? Other than the tune?
There are aftermarket tunes to take the 333 HP up another 100 or so (425 - 433) with remapping and supercharger pulley , Is it also possible to tune the 270 HP to the same 425?
Is there any known issues I should steer clear of?
Any options that I must not live without? Like the warm weather package.
I plan on towing some, very little, but want the power when I do decide to. So I am not concerned with the torque of the diesel, or should I be looking at the diesel model?
If so, are there any tunes for the diesel version?

The 3.0T motors are identical and you can flash the ECU for the "detuned" engine to practically match the performance of the more tuned one.

In US, they're all 333-HP.
Prestige is the sweet spot for options value vs price.
Unless, you have a very tight budget, going with Prestige is the best deal.

The OP was asking about the 2013 - 2015 Q7 (MK1) and those are in fact different HP rating for the Premium/Premium Plus vs. Prestige...even in the US. As you stated, the 2017+ Q7 (MKII) are all 333hp.
