Anyone know the limitations of torque on the DSG?

I think it is pretty close to the current torque output of the motor...

Otherwise they would be putting dsg's on S4's or RS6's. I think they are working on a beefier version for the next generation S6, et. al. (longitudinal versus transverse box)

The TT/A3 version is 350 Nm (258 ft lb), however its just the clutches that limit the torque
At least physically. Update the clutches and you get more out of the tranny. I'm not sure if there are also software limitations as well (if you're thinking of just replacing the clutches).
