Default won't start

i have a 2007 audi a6 with the 3.2l. New upper timing chain tensioners were installed and tested with 2 complete rotations on the crankshaft to make sure the timing was still good. Now it will not start. Turns over very well but its like the gas is not getting to the cylinders. Anyone have any ideas as what this could be? I did change my fuel filter while I was changing the tensioners. When I disconnect the main fuel line at the engine and turn the key the fuel comes out with a good amount of pressure when the fuel pump energizes but it seems to stop there. Any thoughts?
