Clicking noise on valve/camshaft after Timing change
I replaced the timing belt and all rollers by following the instructions in the Bentley manual on my A4 v6 3.0L. I have the timing belt on and tensioned and adjust cam timing, then removed cam lock and crankshaft lock pin. I am trying to turn the engine to check if everything is ok, by turning the crankshaft. I hear some clicking (a kind of loud) round cam/valve area on cylinder 2 or 3 only. Could that be a timing problem or something wrong with the particular valve?
Is there a way to quickly check the valve timing?
Thanks for any advices.

I took a closer look. The clicking is actually from the exhaust camshaft on the cylinder 2. I can see vibration on the camshaft, but do not feel much vibration on the lefter. Clicking happens when the valve is almost closed. could that be a camshaft problem (bearing) or hydraulic lefter makes clicking due to lack of oil? Thanks!
