Cooleant temp high light on
Hi,
After replacing timing belt, water pump and thermostat on my A4 V6 3.0L, the "coolant temperature too high light" is on. The coolant temperature gauge on the instrument panel is normal (at middle). It seems the coolant system is not circulating enough coolant through. The radiator is not very hot. Could that be a water pump or thermostat problem? How to check if the water pump is working correctly? Is there an easy way to check the thermostat without removing it from the car?
Thanks in advance.
Ben
