Cooling fan running all the time
1999 Audi A6 Avant 2.8 - 30V
The coolant fan (passenger side) is running all the time, not shutting off.
Search turned up that the coolant fan switch (passenger side lower corner of radiator) gets 'stuck' often.
Ordered new switch and installed.
Still running.
No codes.
Since it is not the thermo switch, what else could cause the fan not to shut down?

There is a cooling fan control module that would cause this.
