Very strage problem
Firt would like to say hi there to all this comunity. Newby here and hope to make good friends.
Have a problem with an Audi A4 3.0 30v BBJ engine code.
Bank 1 has random multiple cilinder missfires, have change all 6 plugs and swap from bank 2 the 3 coils, still problem persist.
Have also swap inyectors and problem still persist in same bank 1.
Have cheked for cilinder pressure and steady 130 all 6 dilinders.
Test drive after bassic settings done and no problems till hit 3200 - 3500 rpms. Once hit power goes by (limp mode) and will not restablish till clear codes.
Have also swap EGR valves and still problem persist. Have replace timming belt and problem still there. Fuel pressure steady 3.6 bars all the time.
Would like to know if someone has experienced same proble and how did you cure it?
Also if there is somewhere in the net or in this forum the vacum diagram for this car.
Thanks in advance for any kind help.

what do you mean by limp mode since there is no such thing in the ecm, only the tcm...also check all your vacuum lines on the drivers side front of the engine by the power steering pump, the vacuum t's tend to break and you have vacuum leaks...also when you did the timing belt did you notice alot of oil in the timing belt area around the cam gears?

New info
What I mean of limp mode is a similar condition for the engine than a faultry TCM.
We did not notice any oil when replacing timming belt.
We did a tests disconecting the MAF and no mil light happens neither noticed any change on the car. Based in this test we are asuming a faulty MAF.
Also we did scan for faults wit a Vag Com and can not see any other code exept for cilinder 1,2,3 missfire.
Missfires happens mostly under load and same bank always.
Should we noticed a major change disconectig the MAF?

when you did your timing belt job, did you use the tools to lock the cam/crank and did you properly clock the exhaust cam adjuster...these engines can go out of time very easily and they wont give you a improper timing code, they will just misfire on all 3 cylinders of a bank...
