Vibration and Clunk noise underneath when i launch

I recently acquired a 2008 Audi A5 3.2L v6 Coupe, The vehicle has a very rough vibration on idle and low revs but settles when I accelerate, the engine light comes on at times and when I launch the vehicle in the first gear there is a heavy clunk sound underneath as if something was moving out of position, the closest dealer is at least 1000km away from where I stay, any ideas on what might be causing this, please help..

I would say get a spark plug check. Possibly not all plugs are firing off. The clunky takeoff sounds like the transmission gear synchronizer isn't functioning properly. Not sure if that's the term for it...might be called by another name.
