1990 quattro v8

Default 1990 quattro v8

Hello, I just replaced the fuel pump and relay on my 90 v8..car will run about ten mins and die..needs to sit a while before it will re start..is there an ignition problem for this year? Has anyone else had this problem?

Default You would be better off on the V8 Quattro forum as your car is 3.6 and all these guys are less

knowing about anything built before 96'.

Sounds like a crank referance sensor. located on the driver side block along with engine speed sensor.they are both mounted in the same bracket helt in with two 8mm screws. Feel free to post your early 4.2(abh) or 3.6 (pt) ENGINE questions here, as there is at least one of us hear that can help you.
