Does this look like enough thread engagement? These are supplied fasteners with a kit, there is a 1.5mm shim and that itself is no big deal, it is not why there is so little. 9mm is what I measure.

In the crankshaft are blind holes, 15mm deep, with about 13 of them usable threads. That makes 4 more mm available, roughly 50% longer.

I'll note typical fastener logic requires 1.5 times the width of the fastener for depth required, and these are supposedly torque-to-yield fasteners-- triple square / hex head grade 12.9 cap bolts, 10mm x 1.0 thread pitch. There should be 15mm of thread engagement, I'd think, before I'd wrench them to 42 ft/lbs and twist them a half turn past that, forever ruining them.

Any suggestions or opinions appreciated, is this normal? Cuz it sure doesn't look it to me.
