2008 q7 overheating
 

HELP PLEASE. I AM NEW TO THE SITE. I HAVE A 2008 q7 4.2 I have had a ongoing issue for the past year or so. This car has a chronic overheating issue. I have replaced the thermostat. Fixed it for 3 months. Replaced the water pump, and thermostat, another 3 months or so. Just replaced the thermostat, water pump, and radiator. Fixed for 2 months. At the end of my rope, and ready to call it. Any advice would help tremendously.

Does it actually overheat or is it just the dash warning that the car is overheating? Could there be a fan not working properly?

It is overheating for sure. The radiator fan is on full, and I touch the upper radiator hose. It is cool. The lower house is piping hot. The system is full of pressure. The radiator fan is blowing cool air. All signs point to thermostat. I just can't believe that I would 3 bad thermostats. All factory parts.
