I have a 2000 A6 4.2. The other morning it was about -10 degree I started the car it rolled over for a while then it started, about 10 minutes later I went to leave put the car in reverse, and it died. when I went out there it was running ruff. After it died it will not start, it rolls over fine, but wont start. not sure where to start any help would be great.

Check the spark plugs. Are they ok? Check fuel pressure. How many miles?

plugs were just changed 15000 miles a go the car has 130000 miles on it timing belt already changed. what is the easiest way to check the fuel pressure.

and have someone crank it over. Do you have vag-com, any codes?
