Default Anyone tried the Unitronic Chip for the 4.2L?

I am considering the Unitronics ECU flash for my 2005 A8 and wondered if someone has tried it and if it was worth it? What does it raise the RPM's too? Anyone done a dyno on it?

Good luck getting any info. For some reason I have yet to find anyone with the Unitronic chip for the 4.2 (I have an A6 though) to give me any feedback. Maybe everyone who has the chip is too busy driving their car (because they love the flash so much?) to post any info.

I do get a lot of feedback from people that DON'T have the 4.2. I really hope you get a better, and more informative, response than I have.

Default I have a unitronic chip in my S6...

Since nobody has a chip for my car i went with unitronic. they made a custom chip for me. the car responds better also i noticed gains in higher rpms 4000 ad up. they gave me 30 day money back but i like the chip and wouldnt remove it. I wish i had another ecu with stock map so i can see the real difference.

Default Unitronic is known for BT software. most of the cars they work with ...

are turbo. The chip cost me 550 with labor because they gave me a good deal.
