Audi A8 2000 transmission issues

Audi A8 2000 transmission issues
The transmission seems to shift perfectly but sometimes it switches to tiptronic on its own and then stays there unless I move the gear shift over and back. I'm just wondering if it's the tcm or what might be causing it.
