I have a D2 A8 40v V8. I figure that on the most part they all sound similar. (read different but close; my Cobra sounded a lot different than my buddies GT but close)

i had that on my car and it sounded incredible! because the A6 4.2 is NA, the sound was louder and deeper.

my friend has a 4.2 and just got the miltek exhaust.... waaaay to quiet.

I've heard a supersprint exhaust on the 4.2 as well.... sounds good.. but not as gurgly as the sound enhanced rs6 exhaust.

check on the C5 A6 forum, you might able to snag a system.... or ask around the RS6 forum or go to rs6.com and see if anyone is unloading one.

make sure it's the sound enhanced/sport exhaust... the regular exhaust has a polished finish, but the sport exhaust has a gunmetal/dark grey finish.

Hey, is this me? Yeah, the RS6 is way better than the Milltek. Wish I could have it back.
