Chip for a 4.2 05.5 S4... worth it?

I'm sure this issue has been talked about before, but can anyone give me specifics on what the car drives like being chipped compared to not?? Is it noticeable?? I was looking at GIAC but have heard good things about APR. Thanks

with down pipes yes...

otherwise probably not, there is very noticable difference in the throttle response but for ~$500 you'll want the downpipes to go with the chip.
