Default Front crankseal replacement

2009 audi q7 s line. 4.2 liter. Massive oil leak that I believe is coming from the front crankseal. Removed serpentine belt. Removed bolts from crank pulley. How in the actual world do you get the pulley off to get to the seal?

FYI, I had the same symptoms. Found a video that explained where the leak might be coming from. And it wasn't the front seal. It was the gasket where the oil filter tube mounts to the block.. all the way in the back of the engine under the intake manifold. the oil runs down the valley between the heads and drips down the front of the engine right about where the front seal is located. Had to pull the intake manifold off (not too hard) and there was oil all in the valley and sure enough replaced the figure 8 shaped gasket and problem solved. Its worth a look.
