FYI cam locking tool for 4.2
Ok as it turns out, the cam locking tool for the 2.7 and the 4.2 ARE THE SAME ON 2000 vehicles. I just did the 4.2 and used the same tool. I am guessing the 5 valve is why it worked. They were both 2000. If I remember it also worked on the 5v 2.8 now that I think about it..
BTW took pics of how to do the timing belt on the 4.2 will hopefully have a full write up with poor pictures to help others

I do think the RS6 locking tool is the same as the 2.7 as well.
If you could post up the pics and writeup that would be great. I plan to service my RS6 myself and the info would be great.
