Default i know this is the 4.2 forum but question about the 3.6

on the model guide it says the 1990 motors are aluminum blocks whereas all the rest are iron. is that a mistake or are the 1990 engines the only aluminum ones

how is the spark controlled, distributor or coil pack?

i'm asking these questions as there is a SLIM possiblilty of me gettin my hands on one and i MAY put it in my coupe instead of rebuilding the 5.

thanks

AFAIK, They are all aluminum. They have twin distributors.

Default They're all aluminum, distributor fired.

None of the V8's have an iron block.
