Default NEED HELP

HEY GUY I HAVE A 2000 A6 4.2 I HAD THE TIMING BELT DONE AND NOW AM GETTING MISFIRE (16684,16692,16691,16689,17512,17521 AND SOMETHING ABOUT KNOCK SENSOR I DONT REMEMBER THE CODE) I HAD THE MECHANIC CHANGE THE SPARK PLUG AND CHECK THE COILS AND FUEL INJECTORS,AND I REPLACED THE M.A.F WHEN I THEY DID THE TIMING BELT THE ALSO CHANGED ONE OF THE CAM GEARS, WHAT ELS CAN CAUSE A MISFIRE I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP HEAR

Default They screwed the timing up while doing the belt.

Your're lucky it still runs. This is exactly how you bend valves!!!

they said some thing about the ECM can be bad is that possible can it cause a misfire

Default They didn't tension the belt properly.

Now your driver's side camshaft is off a bit. Have the mechanic retension the belt and have him use the proper camshaft locking tools. If the tensioning is good, then the only other thing would be your output stage #2 for your ignition coils, but I doubt it.

highly unlikely especially if all of this is happening just AFTER the TB was done. Agreed, it's off
